Freshfin Poke
This weekend I had the chance to enjoy some fresh seafood poke bowls at Freshfin Poke, located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.
I had the scrumptious spicy tuna poke bowl, which has just the right amount of spice. It’s not too spicy where you won’t find it enjoyable.
My friend that tagged along had their cashew chicken:
Specials
We didn’t notice any specials going on when we were there, nor did we find any on their website.
Location
Freshfin Poke has two locations in Milwaukee; one on the east side and the third ward. There’s a soon to be location opening up in Brookfield off of Bluemound Road.
Third Ward
316 N. Milwaukee St.
Milwaukee, WI 53202
East Side
1806 E. North Ave.
Milwaukee, WI 53202
Parking
Parking is a little tough right outside the location in the third ward during lunch and on the weekends. That’s downtown for you! Your best bet is to car pool and try to find a spot a block or two over. We parked on Broadway and walked over, which worked out just fine.
Side note: If you’re looking to stop at the downtown location, keep in mind they’re only open during the lunch rush M-F (11-2pm) and 11:30-2:30pm on Saturdays.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is quaint and quiet with a few small tables to sit at. Beautiful pieces like the chandelier pictured below and artwork adorn the walls of the Landmark building, which is also home to Holey Moley Doughnuts and Coquette Cafe.
